Cesenatico's coast has an
extension of 7 KMeters and includes
Zadina's beaches, Ponente, Levante, and Valverde Villamarina. The
Adriatic Coast'
s width is between 100 and 200 meters and the coast is composed by
gold, fine and
homogenous sand . The coast's bed is soft, gently sloped, making this area
suitable for children and for "beginners" of the sea.
Since 19th Century, when the first bathing establishments were opened, Cesenatico
was a popular seaside resort on the Adriatic Riviera. For several decades the beaches
were trodden by the Hungarians and Czechs, but the real
boom of Cesenatico
began after the war. In the '60s, Italians and Germans discovered the pleasures
